“Second Life und das Geld”

Dienstag, den 5. Februar 2008

So hier noch ein weiterer Link von mir für euch:
http://www.sueddeutsche.de/finanzen/artikel/954/99855/print.html

Februar 2008

Sorry, hab keine Ahnung, wie man Links hochlädt, bin ziemlich unbedarft, was Blogs angeht. Aber auf der folgenden Seite findet ihr eine Übersicht über die Preise, vor allem hinsichtlich der Landnutzung. Also wenns interessiert der schaut hier mal nach. http://de.secondlife.com/pricing

Endlich obdachlos!!

You: hi
Landlord: Hi. Would you to pay by credit card instead?
Landlord: I’m afraid I can’t split the land
You: no i only need a little bit land for two more weeks, maybe 400qm…
You: only for experimental purposes
Landlord: Well I really do need the rent paid, I’m afraid - I don’t mind one or two days over (as you’ll find out if you talk to anyone on this island) but I’m afraid I can’t provide charity to everyone - it’s just not possible. I have business partners to answer to, I’m afraid
Landlord: I really wish I could give away land free of charge, but I just can’t
Landlord: I’m sorry - but an island costs me 300 US$ per month
Landlord: Could you not just buy some more linden dollars?
You: no i dont need more land than 400qm and I dont want to buy more lindens
Landlord: ok - then I’m really sorry, but you’ll need to pack things up by the end of the weekend so I can rent this plot out again
You: hmh
You: ok
Landlord: Sorry, but I have to make the islands pay - and given that I allow anyone renting access to another entire island for teaching purposes, I think we offer a realyl good deal
You: i think we have to go to one of these sandboxes now
Landlord: Yes, I think you’re right
You: thats how hardcore-capitalism works
Landlord: Yep!
Landlord: Good luck with finding a sandbox
You: good luck, as well
Landlord: Thanks
You: sl is a strange place
Landlord: Yes, it certainly is
Landlord: Education costs money - in Sl or in RL
Landlord: That’s the way it is
Landlord: Anyway, I don’t think we can solve the problems of the world
You: thats not true
Landlord: Not true?
You: sorry - i dont have the time for such conversation right now
Landlord: Anyway
Landlord: Good luck with your project - and I’m sorry you couldn’t stay with us
Landlord: Don’t forget to pick everything up
